A Robots Path is Never Simple

This one was a bit of a trip back to some old skool robot tubes, and a few sparkles, just cos i had them kicking about

Human After All

This one came about fairly quickly, i'd been reading a lot of comics and picked up a big canvas by chance. I wanted to work in darker colours for this one, and layer my paint well, and i think i did something pretty different with my robots

Throughout History, There Have Always Been Robots in Positions of Power

I'd like to tell you there's an extremely deep meaning to this picture, but to be honest i just tthought it was funny, and sometimes people read into art far too deeply. I did try to do some of my best painting for this, i wanted it to look so old-skool that no-one had thought to go that old skool before

Second Comission!

This one was my second comission, for someone who has always been a big fan of the Takeover from what i've heard. I wanted to do something mad, and i liked the idea of doing animals and other stuff again like i did in my first comission. Despite not being very big, this one took ages, cos i wanted to get it just right

A Robots Death Brings Great Sadness

This one was just me trying to do something different, i don't ever wanna be put in any kinda mould, but i like to think when people see my stuff, they know whose it is. Another idea that had been kicking about for a while, but i wasn't sure how to execute it. I wanted this one to get away from the hypercolour, and the words are some Interpol lyrics, if a song inspires me for a painting I like to try and fit the lyrics in

Robots Know Other Robots, Who Know Other Robots

This ideas another one i'd had for a while, surprisingly it only took an afternoon, top notch

Dancing on the Astral Planes

Ok, so this ones an idea I'd been holding onto for a wee while. It took even longer than I expected, but i was pleased with it in the end, it was very appropriate for the person i did it for

First Comission!

Ok, so not all these posts are gonna be in the order that i actually did the paintings, but that doesn't really matter. After gaining a bit of momentum with my pictures I got to do some cool stuff for people a couple of months ago. My uncle, who has always been a great supporter of my work, asked me to do a comission for him, he was pretty specific about sizes and what he wanted, and it had to be taken off the canvas and rolled, which was a good bit of learning
